Barry Rice completes West Michigan Design Academy

Jul 21 2008

Worksighted is proud to announce that Barry Rice, Business Development Manager, has completed The Business Academy of Design West Michigan program at Kendall College Art & Design. The Business Academy of Design West Michigan is a two-day educational experience for those who seek to more broadly understand the design process for application in
their businesses, organizations, practices and areas of responsibility.

The program has been organized by Lakeshore Advantage and multiple West Michigan organizations to develop a new way of bringing more “design thinking” into the ranks of area companies. This unique program targets non-designers, seeking to teach them new problem solving techniques. The course includes case studies from local, design-focused businesses including Whirlpool, Gentex, Meijer and Spectrum–all with unique approaches to problem solving. Participants receive Continuing Education Units at Kendall College for completeing the course.
