Worksighted founders named 2011 Holland Chamber Small Business Persons of the Year
HOLLAND, Mich., October 11, 2010 – Worksighted announced today that co-founders, Mat Nguyen and Mike Harris, have been selected by the Holland Area Chamber of Commerce as the 2011 Holland Chamber Small Business Person of the Year.
The two entrepreneurs were honored during the October 11th Early Bird Breakfast at Haworth Inn and Conference Center. During the presentation, Nguyen and Harris discussed starting the business and the path they took to get from a 2 person startup in a basement in 2000 to a 20 employee professional IT firm located in downtown Holland.
“This award is truly an honor and a testament to the Worksighted team, our family and friends and the support that everyone has provided to get to this point,” said Nguyen. “We look forward to many more great years in the Holland community!”
Worksighted has been on a growth trend for the last five years, doubling revenue every two years and expanding into new geographic markets and adding new services related to the core IT management and support business.
“Innovation has always been central to the success and growth of Worksighted,” explained Harris, VP of Information Services. “As a service company, innovation means changing the way we do things and how our people work. We are fortunate to have a team that understands the need to evolve.”
