Windows XP Availability

Recently, there has been much confusion on how long Microsoft Windows XP will be available on new systems. As a Dell Partner, we will be able to offer Windows XP preloaded on all business-class notebooks, desktops and workstations until January 2010. This includes the Dell Latitude, Optiplex and Precision models. Other Dell lines may incur a surcharge for the downgrade or may not be available at all.
